UV- and silicone-coated membranes protect against sun, rain and wind, and ensure high stability in challenging weather conditions and under high wind loads.

Membrane coating
The specially developed Magic Sky Membranes are UV-resistant and silicone-coated. This makes them weatherproof, translucent and completely rain- and drip-proof, whilst ensuring pleasant lighting conditions under the canopy.

Event canopies – hire or buy
An event canopy must fulfil two roles simultaneously: provide reliable protection from the weather and enhance the atmosphere of the event. The modular Magic Sky canopy systems do both – whether hired as event canopies for one-off events or purchased as a permanent solution. With diameters ranging from 10 to 42 metres, TÜV certification and a set-up time of 6 to 8 hours, they are equally suitable for festivals, sporting events, corporate functions and town festivals.
The elegant alternative to a marquee
Where a marquee would be too bulky, too dark or too ordinary, the canopy system creates open, light-filled event spaces: the translucent membrane lets daylight through, serves as a projection screen and supports integrated lighting, sound and media technology. In this way, weather protection becomes temporary architecture.
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about the Magic Sky event canopy
Can you buy a Magic Sky canopy system, or is it only available to hire?
Both. You can hire Magic Sky canopy systems as event coverings or purchase them as a permanent roofing solution. If you choose to buy, Magic Sky will continue to support you with maintenance and servicing even after installation.
How long does it take to erect an event canopy?
A Magic Sky canopy system can be fully erected in 6 to 8 hours – including valid inspection records and TÜV certification. Planning, logistics and installation are all provided from a single source.
What sizes are available?
The canopy systems are available in diameters ranging from 10 to 42 metres and offer up to 1,385 m² of covered area per system. Multiple systems can be combined to create larger areas; custom sizes are available on request.
Can the canopy withstand wind and rain?
Yes. The UV- and silicone-coated membrane is rainproof and drip-proof, and the systems are designed to withstand wind loads of up to 12 Beaufort. All materials comply with fire safety classes B1 (DIN 4102) and M2 (NF P92-507).
How much does an event canopy cost?
The price depends on the size of the canopy, the hire period, the venue and the integration of technical equipment. We’ll provide a specific quote upon request, based on key details of the event – with no obligation and within a short time.
Is a canopy system an alternative to a marquee?
Yes – with one key difference: the canopy system does not require solid walls; the translucent membrane lets daylight through and can be used as a projection screen. This gives it a more open and architectural feel than a traditional marquee.
